Nuraslina Zainal Abidin has been named as the new group chief executive officer (CEO) of Theta Edge Bhd, effective immediately.
Nuraslina followed A.Shukor S.A.Karim, who retired on June 28, according to Chairman Datuk Noordin Sulaiman.
“The company believes that Nuraslina’s hiring will accelerate its transformation and value creation,” Noordin said today in a statement.
Nuraslina’s appointment results in the immediate dissolution of the company’s executive committee.
Nuraslina, 46, was previously the chief executive officer of Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Dagang Nexchange Sdn Bhd, as well as the founder and group managing director of Genaxis Group Sdn Bhd.
Nuraslina graduated from the University of Science Malaysia with a B.S. (Hons) in Food and Science Technology.
Nuraslina’s leadership in digital transformations and business optimization has resulted in approximately US$150 million in value and savings for customers.
She provides 17 years of experience transforming and optimising business processes and performance for multinational corporations.
According to Theta Edge, she has led numerous technological megaprojects and strategic efforts for digital transformation.
